Bro

It seems too early for me to credit someone for something. I’m still young. Real life’s seemingly just started.. But if there is anyone who I should be deeply grateful for so far, it must be my bro.

Though perhaps we’re so different now – in almost everything, I can’t hide the fact that he has made a very positive impact on me since young. He has guided and inspired me so much & despite all the differences I’ve still learned from him a lot.

To be honest, like many others (the averages), he seemed to underrate if not look down on me. He did doubt if I could find a job here. Even when things change, we still can’t work out together…
I did compare & had a shallow thought that if I were him, I would have done a lot better as a bro.
But then I realise we don’t need to be a best-fit to learn from each other. I know many are jealous of me when I posted on FB as they haven’t & may never find someone like that in their entire lives.

I’m lucky! Damn lucky!

He gave me some hopes & optimism at home though it turned out to be just diplomatic & might not even be true.

He bought then carried some heavy dumbbells from very far away for me to work out at home.

He bought me the widely considered “best business & personal development” book of all time.
He introduced me the guy whose philosophy changed my life over & over again.
My greatest achievement so far – the 100 consecutive push-ups was also introduced by him.

Those are just to name a few…

When I just came to SGP, he told me sth that I’m still & gonna remember for times to come:

I’ve been here for almost 4 years but I’m still studying English almost everyday. So I can’t find any reasons for you not to do the same.

One time, he took me to a restaurant in Bugis & said:

If you wanna date any Singaporean girls, you have to take them here (good restaurants) very often!

And yup, I did 🙂 But of course not that often

One of a few times he complimented me:

Your character, appearance,… If you succeed too, it’d be almost perfect!

I was actually preparing to stand on my own 1 year ago. I took her there & told her the story… Things became even clearer during the last summer. And now it becomes reality. As I told my colleague, we hardly talk since then. But at least I know I’ve still got someone “there”…

I’m totally ready to stand on my own. Be strong & succeed!

We may go in totally different roads but our destinations seems exactly the same. We’ll reach there for sure. See you there, bro! 🙂

First and foremost, I was lucky – damn lucky to have you (!!) though not for a very long time…

To be honest, you’re not the prettiest nor cutest and such. But surely you’re sweetest girl I’ve ever met!!

– You flew here to meet me immediately after I said I was in trouble..

– You travelled far away just to accommodate me home & surprised me with our delicious home food

– You made my best birthday gift ever!! & I happened to receive it at the midnight of the day though it was in my house for a few days. What a surprise! What a coincidence! You would never know how happy I was! I still keep the gift wrapper till now 🙂

I still wonder how those sweetest things could come to me… As I said, “girls are jealous of what I receive & guys are simply jealous of me”!

hi`hi`. I’ve just tried to put some jokes here to ease the sadness of this article. I know for sure you didn’t care all of those things. It was just not You.

That’s why I know I was lucky…
But….

Perhaps after what you had done for me, I probably took you for granted. I admitted I did. But it was not the decisive moments. It was long long after that. And I’m experienced enough to know what was going on & appreciate what came to me.

Perhaps we came to each other at the wrong time. It was a pretty tough period for me. I couldn’t do anything for a month or two. It was the toughest days… Having said that, tough periods also led to great opportunities. As I said, we had chances, in fact, a lot of chances but we couldn’t seize it…

Despite all other differences, we all love to travel & we did travel together quite a lot of times. Almost all were memorable <3

Now I let you go with a hope that “If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you (without you having to plead and beg), its yours forever. If it doesn’t, then it was never meant to be.”

That saying was right partially – not all. So it’s a hard decision anyway but I’m willing to make it as a man.
I don’t wanna keep you beside for nothing.
I don’t wanna give you much of an vain hope.
I don’t wanna fool you with sweet yet empty words & stuff.
I don’t wanna cheat on you.
I don’t want you to be just as a back-up…

I’m a man and at least that means something.

With all my due confidence & optimism, I still don’t know if I could find someone like you – as sweet as you & particularly love me as much as You do. I know You still do..

First times

It was obviously not first love. But it was a lot of first times. Crazy & memorable as ever.

girls in relationship!?

First and foremost, I’m not interested in girls in relationship at all.

Good friends? Maybe. But definitely nothing more than that. Leaving their boyfriends for someone better (richer, more handsome, whatever it is) is apparently & generally not a wise choice for girls. Personally, I wouldn’t prefer it either (!) even if she leaves someone for me. I believe eventually she’ll leave me for some similar reasons. I’d likely become another fool – just like the “poor” boyfriend she’s just left. Loyalty & trust are vital in any relationships, which don’t show in this case at all.

Girls in relationship are generally good looking (& of course good in other stuff too 😉 . In fact, many look better in relationship than being single. But if you’re looking for a serious and long-term relationship, avoid girls in relationship at all cost! They’re not meant for you. There are still a bunch of other beautiful girls out there.

It’s alright if we meet some “love at first sight” though. But that’s rare and exceptional!

Girls in Relationship?

No. No way.

nt: It’s not so hard to date a girl in relationship. Sometimes it’s even easy if she’s in a bad relationship. But say No or at least wait until she already settles her stuff & promise yourself not to involve anything in her own business.

ps:  Nothing seems less attractive than a man (probably girls – albeit likely not true haha)  in relationship..

“What do you do after work?”

Last week,3 friends of mine coincidentally asked me the same question, “What do you do after work?”

Actually I didn’t  know how to answer them…

Because they would likely expect to hear sth differently from what I’m gonna say. Work. Yes, after work, I usually work 🙂

That work for me is just like a pleasure, which is different from my current work from 9 to 5. I mean when you find what you love to do, in technical term, it’s called work but actually it’s a play. It’s fun. It’s interesting. It’s amazing! Great!
